SCOPE

 

All topics related to applications of various plasmas for catalytic reaction, for energy conversion, for catalyst preparation and for preparation of energy materials will be included. All topics related to applications of catalyst or heterogeneous materials for plasmas will be also included. The topics include but not limited the following list: 

 

• Any kind of combinations with plasmas and catalysts

• Any kind of combinations with plasmas and energy materials

• Catalyst under the influence of plasmas

• Catalyst preparation or modification by using plasmas

• Energy materials preparation or modification by using plasmas

• Plasmas for battery, fuel cell and solar energy systems

• Interaction between the plasmas and catalyst

• Interfacial phenomena with plasmas

• Process intensification with plasmas

• Applications of Plasmas for supercritical CO₂ or for ionic liquids

• Plasma activation of methane, CO₂, nitrogen and others

• Thermodynamic and kinetic studies

• Plasma diagnoses

• Real time catalyst characterization

• Theoretical studies and molecular modeling

 

Format and Language 

 

The official language of the conference will be English.

 

There will be plenary lectures, keynote presentations, oral sessions and poster sessions in ISPCEM-2012.  

 

The 200-word abstract can be submitted via email to dbdliu@yahoo.com.cn or                coronaypzhang@yahoo.com.cn. The deadline for submission is July 15, 2012 . No extension will be available. 

 

Deadlines

July 15, 2012: submission of abstracts (around 200 words; 12 point font size and double line spacing; please include the presenting author with a star; please include contacting address and email address). No more extension will be available. 

August 15, 2012: early bird registration. 

 

Proceedings 

Abstract book will be available with all accepted abstracts.  

We will publish a special symposium issue in an international journal (to be announced).  

 

Registration 

The registration fee includes the symposium abstract, lunches, dinners, banquet and a one-day tour.

Students: $300 

 

After August 15, 2012 

Participants: $600 

Students: $400
